What this policy sets out:
This policy’s purpose is to ensure the safety of any child under the age of 18 who is to be involved in any Cornish Claycutters Baseball Club games, training or events.
Policy Scope
This policy is in place to protect all children under the age of 18 who use our services, and it applies to all members of our organisation including coaches, playing members and volunteers.
Equality Statement
All children will have the same protection regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, religion or identity. Support will be provided to any children with specific needs.
How we will keep your children safe:

By coaches taking regular safeguarding training

Having a clear and confidential method or reporting and dealing with incidents

Carrying out any necessary background checks on any new coaches and providing any necessary training

Providing a safe environment for children to learn and play with our team
